Swindon & Cricklade Railway
The railway is the only
standard-gauge heritage railway in Wiltshire. It has vintage steam;
diesel-hauled trains and DMUs restored and run on a railway built by
volunteers.
You can find the railway on the site of Blunsdon Station between Swindon and
Cirencester and the line uses part of the track bed of the former Midland
& South Western Junction Railway.
