Nature in Art is the world’s first museum dedicated exclusively to fine,
decorative and applied art inspired by nature
The growing collection is housed in a fine Georgian mansion dating from the
mid 1700’s. Displays are changed regularly and have a vibrant programme of
temporary exhibitions supported by an unrivalled programme of artists in
residence. International in scope, appeal and stature, Nature in Art is a must
for all those interested in world-class art, nature and heritage
The museum has twice been specially commended in the National Heritage
Museum of the Year Awards. The museum is set in lovely gardens and a
beautiful setting and free parking and a beautiful setting.
Opening Times: Tuesday - Sunday 10am -
5pm and Bank Holiday Mondays.
Closed December 24th - 26th and every Monday.

with disabilities are welcome There is ramped access for wheelchair users.
Inside there is a lift and level or ramped access to the garden, art studios
etc and wheelchair users toilets. Please
note that the lift may not be able to accommodate some wheelchairs and the
toilets may not be suitable for all wheelchair users. We are addressing this
situation at the moment. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you require
information before you visit. The
museum has two wheelchairs for free loan to visitors who might need them (booking
in advance is recommended). Guide dogs for the blind and deaf are welcome. With
prior notice the museum is pleased to make extra tactile exhibits available for
visitors with visual impairment.
Nature in Art is 2 miles north of
Gloucester on the main A38. It is marked by brown tourism signs.
Tewkesbury and Cheltenham are within easy
reach (approx. 7 miles).
