Acton Court
Acton Court is a beautifully conserved Tudor House
that was built by Nicholas Poyntz for the pleasure of Henry VIII, at
Iron Acton, Bristol.
After a painstaking programme of conservation
work, mostly funded by English Heritage, both the East and North ranges
of Acton Court can now be viewed. Access to Acton Court is with a
professional guide only.
Allow approximately one hour for the tour.
Please wear soft soled shoes (absolutely no stilletos!).
