About the Building of Bath Collection

The Building of Bath Collection is a ’must see’. If you love Bath and its architecture then this museum explains how and why this magnificent city was built, decorated and lived in. In a period of 70 years Bath developed from a small provincial spa to being the most fashionable place, outside of London. Using a series of models, maps, paintings and reconstructions the museum looks in detail at the various crafts and personalities that built this wonderful city. We have an unrivalled collection of authentic and specialist tools, fixtures and fittings from the Georgian period.

The Collection is on a raised pavement and set back from the road. Wheelchair access through main entrance
